About ARIO

The mission of the Association of Research Integrity Officers (ARIO) is to provide a dedicated platform for Research Integrity Officers, their staff, and general counsel to discuss, develop, and share best practices and strategies for handling research misconduct allegations and promoting ethical research.

The Association of Research Integrity Officers (ARIO) was officially formed in 2016.  The idea for the association was created by a group of like-minded Research Integrity Officers and Administrators, who met for the first time in Baltimore, MD at Johns Hopkins University in 2013.
